“I originally did it at first as a joke,” club owner Shon Boulden, “and it got 150 shares on Facebook—like nothing we’ve ever had before. So I was like, ‘Well shit, why don’t we just try to do this?’”
Boulden explained the service as delivery of a full food menu with non-alcoholic drinks, like ginger beer and Red Bull.
He said once an order is placed, two dancers are assigned to the delivery. They then bring the food to the customer’s door while remaining at a safe distance to help prevent the spread of the disease.
“They’ll wear pasties and booty shorts, drop off the food, dance for a second and then we’ll move along,” Boulden says. “We’ll still stay a reasonable distance back. They have Lysol as well.”
Along with delivering the food the strippers will also pose for photos.
The ingenious service has just launched and it’s becoming extremely popular.
“We’re getting orders right now from Vancouver to Tigard,” Boulden says. “It’s pretty crazy. We’ve got a whole team of people ready to deliver food and some cheer.”
